Our property is adjoined to  a section of the Little
Juniata River.

When you stay with us, we can drive you down the
hill to the river in the RTV or you can drive just
minutes to any open section of the Little Juniata
River or Spruce Creek.

If you wish to travel a little further there are loads
of amazing creeks to fish in.

room has it's own charm in a quiet country setting and a view of the most beautiful mountains in Pennsylvania.

Spruce Creek PA. We are just 3 miles away from the heart of the Catch and Release stretch on the Little Juniata and less
than a mile from Spruce Creek. Truly any fly fishermen's dream! Just 25 miles from State College, PA giving you the best of
both worlds. Within 30 minutes you can be in State College for sporting events or to enjoy a show at the Jordan Center. We
are 15 miles from Huntingdon, PA where you can enjoy Raystown Lake and Juniata College. Altoona, PA is only 20 miles
away where you can take in The Historical Railroad Museum, the Horseshoe Curve, see a baseball game at the Curve or
attend a function at the Altoona Convention Center.
Railfanning locations are found all over the Norfolk
Southern Railroad System. While you lodge with us be
sure to stop by the best known railfanning secret. 5
minutes away from Deer Hollow is the former
Pennsylvania Railroad Mainline. Sit in the comfort of your
own car or bring a lawn chair. The best time is to watch
trains from this location is during the weekend, when
traffic to a local stone quarry is minimal. Great
photography opportunities. You just never know what may
be heading east or west. Trailer Trains, Passenger
Trains, Coal Trains, and more just may be the subject of
your photo album. When visiting please obey no
